The Center for Pulmonary Heart Disease is a multidisciplinary center specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the arteries supplying blood to the lungs) and its complications. By conducting research into the underlying causes of pulmonary heart disease, the center promotes better outcomes for patients through new therapies.
At the Rush Center for Pulmonary Heart Disease, our medical and nursing experts share the view that compassion and accessibility are important aspects of patient care. Our outstanding nurse coordinators play important roles as patient advocates, providing education and continuous support for patients and families.
