Thank you for entrusting us with your child's care. We understand that healing and caring for children requires experience, sensitivity and effective communication. We created this section to give you 24-hour access to information about the clinic, to answer commonly asked questions, provide links to reliable Internet health resources and give you the option to request documents and appointments online. We welcome you to be a part of our team and we will work together to serve the best interest of our patients by understanding your child's individual health needs. The Primary Care Center is comprised of the Pediatric Care Group (312-942-2232), University Pediatrics (312-942-2200), and the Acute Care Clinic (8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays).

At Rush Pediatric Primary Care Center, we strive to provide a medical home for your child by providing care for infants, children and adolescents by working with the full team of pediatric sub-specialists at Rush University Medical Center. In addition to the attending physicians and 33 pediatric resident physicians, our staff is comprised of experienced support staff including pediatric nurses, social work support, lactation assistance and a registered dietitian. A few members of our staff are bilingual in English and Spanish.
WE'RE LISTENING
We depend on patient and family feedback in order to improve our practice. Based on your suggestions, we have recently reorganized our waiting and exam rooms to provide a separate space for sick children. Sick children now have their own waiting and exam rooms conveniently located within the Primary Care Center. We encourage you to speak with our staff about your experiences at our practice.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
We accept many managed care and private health insurance plans, as well as government sponsored programs. For a list of current plans accepted, please visit the Rush Health Web site.
REACH OUT AND READ!
Our practice has a strong commitment to literacy. We provide brand new books to all of our patients for every routine visit from 6 months to the age of 5. Our practice also has gently used books that we welcome our patients to read while they wait for their appointment, or to take home and enjoy.
